Champlin, MN (January 27, 2020) – DECO Inc., a global provider of training, security solutions, and specialized technical services is excited to announce Jamie Willoughby has joined its team as Vice President of Business Development. Jamie brings with her extensive experience in military and federal government security training /exercise and management experience spanning across 20 years of results-oriented, continuous business development, 14+ years of military and federal government security training and management, and over 14 years of Interagency/Inter-Service Coordination to DECO.
Prior to joining the civilian workforce, she served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer following a direct ROTC commission out of Gannon University (Erie, PA). Following her active duty military assignments primarily based in the National Capital Region (NCR), Jamie held several roles in increasing responsibility from AT/FP Officer and LE liaison for the Joint Force Headquarters NCR, MACOM AT/FP Program Manager for U.S. Army INSCOM to Federal Exercise Manager for DHS NPPD (now CISA) then moving to the Industry side as a program manager leading numerous task order responses and contract wins in support of the Department of Homeland Security Office of Bombing Prevention (DHS-OBP). Jamie then matured from a program manager to a senior proposal writer to a proposal/business development senior capture manager overseeing the full lifecycle of large re-compete and new strategic proposals valued at greater than $100 million dollars across several companies supporting DOD, DOD, DHS and the IC and Special Operations Community.
Originally, from the hills of Pennsylvania, Jamie is a die hard “all things Pittsburgh sports fan” and currently resides in the Dallas, TX area with her family. In her free time, she is an avid Team Red, White and Blue (RWB) supporter and volunteer, marathoner, and triathlete.
