Alexander Monroe Named as DECO’s Chief Executive Officer

Champlin, MN (August  1, 2019) – DECO Inc., a global provider of training, security solutions, and specialized technical services to clients throughout the world, today announced that Alexander Monroe has been named as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  Alexander joined DECO in April 2017, bringing with him more than 15 years of investment banking, corporate finance, and business development experience. 

Prior to becoming CEO, he served as DECO’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) where he successfully led the recapitalization and rightsizing of the company to position DECO for sustainable and profitable growth. Although DECO remains focused and highly dedicated to government contract security segments, Alexander is committed to diversifying the company into commercial security segments, leveraging his commercial development expertise with his track record of growth and development.

Prior to joining DECO, Alexander led the corporate development groups of two Fortune 500 companies, where he oversaw the companies’ corporate strategic development and business development functions.  Additionally, he successfully founded and built a global consumer products company, which he sold in 2015.  Alexander holds an MBA in international finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

In his spare time, you can find Alexander spending time with his wife and two sons, or in a remote area on his mountain bike.
